Adventures in Dining Out
My mother and I like to take each other out to dinner about once a week, and we usually always go to the same place. It is usually quiet when we go, and usually there is always one other table where some people are seated.
Sometimes nothing of any significance happens, but every now and then a real nugget of gold will be sitting at a table a few feet away talking so loud you can’t help but hear their conversation. And I can’t help but remember every word of it.
So, I decided to take my best-of dining out memories and eternalize them in cartoon complete with real-life quotes from real life ding-dongs that don’t realize that someone who likes to draw silly pictures is sitting near-by, thinking, they would make a great cartoon….
